Each year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates spring in Washington, DC, the gift of the cherry blossom trees, and the enduring friendship between the people of the US and Japan. 2012 marks the centennial celebration and I'm happy to say I'm participating as a Hanami After Dark Artist!
Hanami After Dark is an organization that benefits Tomodachi, an initiative led by the US-Japan Council in an ongoing effort to support Japan's recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
This year, there is an amazing collection of artwork displayed and available for auction. The collection features entertainment industry creative's from Disney, DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, and many others. The auction is open between April 1 - April 27, 2012.
So snag an amazing piece of artwork while donating to a great cause! Check out the auction here.
